Why License CreditLine Credit Card Software?
CreditLine is shareware, meaning that free unlicensed software is fully functional but will not batch/settle
How To Purchase A License?
- If you are an authorized dealer - please refer to the Licensing Procedure below.
- If you wish to become an authorized dealer for a Point Of Sale product that is NOT yet CreditLine enabled, please send your enquiry to .
Note: as a rule, we authorize a single dealer per CreditLine Certified Point Of Sale product.
- For End User Sales please contact your CreditLine Dealer.
What Is Included In A License?
A credit card software license is based on a merchant account. You can use up to 30 free terminals with a single merchant account license. There are no surcharges or monthly fees.
Licensing Procedure
If you have already setup your credit card software, please skip to step 5. If you are switching processors make sure to batch out any pending transactions and back up your current setup (c:\911\data\ccv_info.dat) file.
- Investigate the latest offerings from the supported processors
- Print the setup sheet for you chosen processor (optional)
- Contact your chosen processor or merchant account sales representative for your account setup
- Setup the software configuration
- Email ccv_info.dat file from c:\911\data directory to File:Email license.PNG
- We will license and test your setup for authorization and batch
- We will email the file back to you
- Copy licensed ccv_info.dat into c:\911\data directory
- Restart CreditLine Server to apply changes
- Check the setup in CreditLine Manager to make sure that your business information is correct
- You are now ready to accept charges on your new merchant account!
Licensing Steps
Credit card software has to be setup differently for every processor/merchant account.
Dealer Licensing Steps
The following steps will occur on Dealer side:
- Converting the faxed information into proper format
- Filling out the Authorization parameters for every card type
- Filling out the Amex Authorization parameters for AMEX (if split dial)
- Filling out Settlement parameters
- Setting up connection types and modem types (if dial up)
911 Software Licensing Steps
The following steps will occur on 911 Software side:
- Updating the setup for any new features. Validating compliance with new industry standards.
- Licensing the software (getting the code for the key and entering it into the software
- Running live VISA, MC, AMEX etc cards for 1 sale and 1 credit each on live customer account
- If step 3) fails for any card - call the processor to debug
- Running the batch on the live customer account. Validating end of day batch
- If step 5) fails for any card - inform the dealer. Work with dealer to resolve
- Email the setup file back to the dealer.
