ValueLink Network Security
ValueLink usually requires the registration of the source IP to prevent hacking. Please contact ValueLink if you are having trouble connecting. You may need to dial up to their network using PPP.
Special Gift Card Prefix Considerations
ValueLink removes their ISO BIN 601056 from the card numbers printed on the card for security reasons. In the mag stripe, however, they have the full number, split into section.
POS developers take note: for manual ValueLink Gift Card transactions you will have to append 601056 before the number shown on the gift card. Scanned transactions do need to be altered. This also means that you cannot use the ISO BIN range to detect the card type for manual ValueLink transactions.
