Setup Sheet & Reverse PIP Terminal ID

Small Chain Requests (Less Than 25 Locations)

Fax Requests
Use this form: Reverse PIP TID Request Form. Reverse PIP requests can be faxed to (443) 394-2174. All fax requests need to have the American Express merchant number, business name, address info, V/MC merchant number, processor, bank, and number of terminal id’s needed. The setup department will process the request and fax the information back to the originator. All fax requests are worked within 24 to 48 business hours. Any order that is received after 2:00pm CST will be counted in their next days work.
Email Requests
Use this form: Reverse PIP TID Request Form. Reverse PIP requests can be emailed to [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. Attach the form to the request. The setup department will process the request and email the information back to the originator. All email requests are worked within 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Any order that is received after 2:00pm CST will be counted in their next days work.

Large Chain Requests (More Than 25 Locations)

All large chain requests should be referred to Jolynn A Fox. Large chains consist of more than 25 locations. Anything under 25 should be handled in one of the two options that are listed above.

Connection Configuration

Select an available connection slot as shown and click Edit
Select the Parameters as shown
  • Click OK and OK to close all dialogs.

Advanced Connection Configuration

It is recommended by American Express to use a location specific server. The server to be used with AMEX is specified in 911/data/ccv_link.ini like so:

  • If you are East of Mississippi, then it is recommended to specify the Minneapolis host like so (note the m in front of www206 and the App is different):

  • If you are West of Mississippi, then it is recommended to specify the Phoenix host like so (note, there is no m in front of www206 and the App is different):

Authorization Configuration

Select Amex and click Edit
Enter Parameters as shown and click Merchant Account

Using Apply To Auths

→ If you are using version 3.03.16+, you can populate most of the settings in the Authorization Configuration by using Apply to Auths feature in CreditLine Settlement Parameters Dialog.

→ Note: Apply To Auths copies the settlement config values into the Auth Config Dialogs for all accepted cards of the same class.
