Upgrading From Older Versions
If upgrading your credit card software, please make sure to
- Batch any outstanding transactions, first. If upgrading from older non-IP credit card processing software versions, you may incur a small upgrade fee - please contact your dealer for more information before installing the new version.
- If upgrading from a credit card software version prior to 3.00.00, please uninstall your old version, first. This will ensure that all non-compliant utilities and programs are removed from your system. You will not loose your data.
Installation
After you download the Credit Card Processing Software proceed to the following steps
- Run CreditLine_?.??.??.exe file
- Follow the instructions to install the credit card processing software.
The program is installed in C:\911 directory
The shortcuts are placed in Start->911 Software CreditLine
Installation Path
The default installation path is c:\911\. However, you can move the folder and map a drive to point to the new directory as root. For instance, if the program is moved to c:\Program Files\911 Software\CreditLine then map a drive Z: to c:\Program Files\911 Software\CreditLine and set the working directory for the shortcuts to SERVER and MANAGER to Z:\911\bin.
NOTE: the software ALWAYS looks for \911\bin from the root of the drive regardless of the installation path or working directory set. The working directory only points out the root drive.
Advanced Setup Options
Advanced setup options can be found in c:\911\data\911_CCV.ini file. Restart the server to apply.
