This article is a part of the AMEX CAPN Compliance guidelines for Dial-Up accounts using AMEX split-dial for auth and/or settlement. If you do not use split-dial (Reverse PIP) for AMEX, you are alread compliant and do not need to follow this guide.

Removing AMEX Auth Split-Dial

Select Amex and click Edit
Select your processor and click OK

→ Note, example above uses TSYS/VITAL. Please use the same processor that is selected for VISA and Mastercard.

→ If you are using version 3.03.16+, you can populate most of the settings in the Authorization Configuration by using Apply to Auths feature in CreditLine Settlement Parameters Dialog.

→ Note: Apply To Auths copies the settlement config values into the Auth Config Dialogs for all accepted cards of the same class.

Removing AMEX Settlement Split-Dial

Select Amex and click Edit
Make sure Settle With Default is selected

Copying Correct Setup To Amex

Select Amex and click Edit
Check Apply To Auths and click OK
